SAP Technology Solution(s means SAP NetWeaver Foundation for Third Party Applications, SAP Cloud Platform (excluding when used solely as a Connectivity App between an SAP Application and S/4 EM) and SAP Leonardo IoT, Business Services (including any renamed, prior and/or successor versions of any of the foregoing made generally available by SAP if any, but excluding when any of the foregoing are used as a User Interface for S/4 EM).
Technology License Agreement means the agreement in the form of Exhibit H hereto.
Company Technology means all Technology owned by (or claimed to be owned by) the Company or any Company Subsidiary.
Collaboration Technology means all Collaboration Patents and Collaboration Know-How.
Assistive technology service means any service that directly assists a child with a disability in the selection, acquisition, or use of an assistive technology device. The term includes:
Technology means algorithms, APIs, diagrams, formulae, inventions (whether or not patentable), invention disclosures, programmer’s notes, improvements, modifications, know-how, logos, marks (including brand names, product names, logos, and slogans), methods, network configurations and architectures, processes, confidential information, proprietary information, protocols, schematics, specifications, product designs, roadmaps, marketing strategies, Software (in any form, including Source Code and executable or object code), subroutines, techniques, user interfaces, domain name registrations, URLs, web sites, social media accounts, systems, tools, databases, data collections, concepts, data, coding, images, designs, documentation, books (including lab books), records, works of authorship (including written, audio and visual materials) and all other forms of technology.
Qualified high-technology business means a business or facility whose primary business activity is high-technology activity or a qualified high-wage activity.
New Technology means any invention, discovery, improvement, or innovation that was not available to the District on the effective date of the contract, whether or not patentable, including, but not limited to, new processes, emerging technology, machines, and improvements to or new applications of existing processes, machines, manufactures and software. Also included are new computer programs, and improvements to, or new applications of, existing computer programs, whether or not copyrightable and any new process, machine, including software, and improvements to, or new applications of, existing processes, machines, manufactures and software.
High-technology activity means that term as defined in section 3 of the Michigan economic growth authority act, 1995 PA 24, MCL 207.803.
Information technology services means services designed to do any of the following:
Proprietary Technology means the technical innovations that are unique and
Clean coal technology means any technology, including technologies applied at the precombustion, combustion, or post combustion stage, at a new or existing facility which will achieve significant reductions in air emissions of sulfur dioxide or oxides of nitrogen associated with the utilization of coal in the generation of electricity, or process steam which was not in widespread use as of November 15, 1990.
Assistive technology device means any item, piece of equipment, or product system that is used to increase, maintain, or improve the functional capacities of a child with a disability.
Information Technology Resources means agency budgetary resources, personnel, equipment, facilities, or services that are primarily used in the management, operation, acquisition, disposition, and transformation, or other activity related to the lifecycle of information technology; acquisitions or interagency agreements that include information technology and the services or equipment provided by such acquisitions or interagency agreements; but does not include grants to third parties which establish or support information technology not operated directly by the Federal Government. Licensor Technology means the Licensor Patents and the Licensor Know-How.
Assistive technology means the devices, aids, controls, supplies, or appliances described in OAR 411-300-0150 that are purchased to provide support for a child and replace the need for direct interventions to enable self-direction of care and maximize independence of the child.
Information Technology (IT means data processing, telecommunications, and office systems technologies and services:
Program Technology means Program Know-How and Program Patents.
Technology Rights means BOARD's rights in any technical information, know-how, processes, procedures, compositions, devices, methods, formulae, protocols, techniques, software, designs, drawings or data created by the inventor(s) listed in Exhibit I at UTMDACC before the EFFECTIVE DATE, which are not claimed in PATENT RIGHTS but that are necessary for practicing PATENT RIGHTS.
Radiologic technologist, limited means an individual, other than a licensed radiologic technologist,
Background Technology means all Software, data, know-how, ideas, methodologies, specifications, and other technology in which Contractor owns such Intellectual Property Rights as are necessary for Contractor to grant the rights and licenses set forth in Section 14.1, and for the State (including its licensees, successors and assigns) to exercise such rights and licenses, without violating any right of any Third Party or any Law or incurring any payment obligation to any Third Party. Background Technology must: (a) be identified as Background Technology in the Statement of Work; and (b) have been developed or otherwise acquired by Contractor prior to the date of the Statement of Work, or have been developed by Contractor outside of its performance under the Statement of Work. Background Technology will also include any general consulting tool or methodology created by Contractor, which will not be required to be identified in the Statement of Work.
Professional Technologist means a person holding registration as Professional Engineering Technologist in terms of the Engineering Profession Act, 2000.
Information Technology (IT) System means the combination of hardware components, software, and other equipment to make a system whose core purpose is to accomplish a data processing need such as the automatic acquisition, storage, analysis, evaluation, manipulation, management, movement, control, display, switching, interchange, transmission or reception of data. IPR means all patents, utility models, identification marks including trade marks, trade names, service marks, domain names, rights to prevent passing off, registered designs, design rights, copyrights, database rights, topography rights, confidential information for any of the aforementioned (including data, know-how and formulations) and any applications for any of the aforementioned and any similar right recognised from time to time with all rights of action for infringement in all countries in the world, together with all renewals and extensions
Technology startup company means a for profit business that
Alternative energy technology means equipment, component parts, materials, electronic devices, testing equipment, and related systems that are specifically designed, specifically fabricated, and used primarily for 1 or more of the following:
