Partner College definition

Partner College means any college of higher and further education which has entered into an academic collaboration agreements with the University under which such college is to deliver one or more Programmes to its students under the authority of, and with the approval of, the University; and references in this Agreement to a “Partner College” shall mean such college when acting in the capacity of such Programme provider rather than as a provider of Placements (in which case such college will be a “Provider”); Placement means a period of work-based, practical training of a Trainee Teacher with the Provider in a work-place environment as part of the Trainee Teacher’s Programme which meets the requirements set out in the Placement Policy (including pages 4 and 5 thereof), Appendix A to the Mentor Handbook and the Definitive Document; Placement Co-Ordinator means someone appointed by the Provider to act as a Placements project manager in either a Primary or a PCET education setting, to oversee and co- ordinate the Placement programme within the Provider’s setting, and supervise Mentors, Subject Mentors and School Based Tutors (as appropriate); Placement Policy Placements Team means the placement policy for the Programmes (as amended by the University and notified to the Provider from time to time); the University’s team responsible for administering Placements;

Partner College means a college with whom Reuben College has an arrangement to share facilities and premises to the extent that the Student’s interaction with the Partner College is because of that arrangement.

Examples of Partner College in a sentence

  • If the module is not part of a programme in a Partner College or Validated Institution these sections can be deleted.

  • If you withdraw or interrupt, you must formally notify the University by completing and submitting a form which you can obtain from your Academic School or Partner College.

  • Where a programme lasts more than one academic year, these discounts are applicable for the first and subsequent years subject to the student still being employed by the University (or its Associate Partner College).

Related to Partner College

  • Partner Group means any legal entity that has direct or indirect Control over the Partner and only as long as that legal entity maintains direct or indirect Control (“Parent Companies”) as well as all Associated Companies of the Parent Companies.

  • Limited Partner Interest means a Partnership Interest of a Limited Partner in the Partnership representing a fractional part of the Partnership Interests of all Partners and includes any and all benefits to which the holder of such a Partnership Interest may be entitled, as provided in this Agreement, together with all obligations of such Person to comply with the terms and provisions of this Agreement. A Limited Partner Interest may be expressed as a number of Partnership Units (other than GP Units).

  • General Partner Loan shall have the meaning set forth in Section 4.3.B.

  • Historically Black Colleges or University , as used in this clause means an institution determined by the Secretary of Education to meet the requirements of 34 CFR Section 608.2. The term also includes any nonprofit research institution that was an integral part of such a college or university before November 14, 1986.

  • Limited lines producer means a person who sells, solicits, or negotiates limited lines insurance.

  • University College means a college which the University may establish or maintain under this Act or a college transferred to the University and maintained by it;

  • General Partner Unit means a fractional part of the General Partner Interest having the rights and obligations specified with respect to the General Partner Interest. A General Partner Unit is not a Unit.

  • Historically black college or university means an institution determined by the Secretary of Education to meet the requirements of 34 CFR 608.2.

  • Distribution Licensee means a licensee authorised to operate and maintain a distribution system for supplying electricity to the consumers in his area of supply;

  • Technical college means the same as that term is defined in Section 53B-1-101.5.

  • Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) means a vehicle that is similar to a Hybrid but is equipped with a larger, more advanced battery that allows the vehicle to be plugged in and recharged in addition to refueling with gasoline. This larger battery allows the car to be driven on a combination of electric and gasoline fuels.

  • Limited Partner means, prior to the admission of the first Additional Limited Partner to the Partnership, the Initial Limited Partner, and thereafter any Person named as a Limited Partner in Exhibit A, as such Exhibit may be amended from time to time, upon the execution and delivery by such Person of an additional limited partner signature page, or any Substituted Limited Partner or Additional Limited Partner, in such Person’s capacity as a Limited Partner of the Partnership.

  • Business Partner means a legal entity that requires use of a training service in connection with Customer’s and its Affiliates’ internal business operations. These may include customers, distributors, service providers and/or suppliers of Customer.

  • Spending unit means the department, bureau, division, office, board, commission,

  • Partnership Unit means a fractional, undivided share of the Partnership Interests of all Partners issued hereunder. The allocation of Partnership Units among the Partners shall be as set forth on Exhibit A, as may be amended from time to time.

  • Community college means a community college established under Iowa Code chapter 260C.

  • Co-licensed partner means a person who, with at least one other person, has the right to engage in

  • Member-managed limited liability company means a limited liability company that is not a manager-managed limited liability company.

  • Substituted Limited Partner means a Person who is admitted as a Limited Partner to the Partnership pursuant to Section 11.4.

  • General Partner Interest means the ownership interest of the General Partner in the Partnership (in its capacity as a general partner) and includes any and all benefits to which the General Partner is entitled as provided in this Agreement, together with all obligations of the General Partner to comply with the terms and provisions of this Agreement.

  • State college means a State college or university established

  • Residentia Group means Residentia Group Pty Ltd of 165 Barkly Avenue Burnley VIC, ACN 600 546 656 in respect of Appliances purchased in Australia;

  • Former Partner means (i) with respect to a Partner that is a trust, a Partner that has ceased to be a Qualified Trust, and has become a Former Partner, pursuant to the terms of Section 1.78; (ii) with respect to a Partner that is an Entity, a Partner that has ceased to be a Qualified Entity, and has become a Former Partner, pursuant to the terms of Section 1.18; (iii) a Partner that has become a Bankrupt Partner and a Former Partner, pursuant to the terms of Section 1.7; (iv) a Partner that has become a Pledgor Partner and a Former Partner, pursuant to the terms of Section 1.74; and (v) a Partner that ceases to be a Participating Stockholder with respect to the Class B Shares of each Company in which the Partnership owns Class B Shares.

  • Section 385 Controlled Partnership has the meaning set forth in Treasury Regulation Section 1.385-1(c)(1) for a “controlled partnership”.
