Peer REIT Total Return definition

Peer REIT Total Return means, for a Peer REIT, with respect to the Performance Period, the absolute total stockholder return of the common equity of such Peer REIT during the Performance Period, calculated in the same manner as Total Return is calculated for the Company.
Peer REIT Total Return means, (a) for a Peer REIT other than a Delisted Peer REIT, with respect to the Cumulative Performance Period, the absolute total stockholder return of the common equity of such Peer REIT during the Cumulative Performance Period, calculated in the same manner as Total Return is calculated for the Company and (b) for a Delisted Peer REIT, an absolute total stockholder return of -100%.
Peer REIT Total Return means, for a Peer REIT, with respect to the Performance Period, the absolute total stockholder return of the common equity of such Peer REIT during the Performance Period, calculated in the same manner as Total Return is calculated for the Company.[“Performance Period” means, the period commencing on (and including) January 1, [2016] and concluding on (and including) the earliest of (a) December 31, [2018], or (b) the date of a Change of Control.[“Performance Period” means, the period commencing on (and including) January 1, [2016] and concluding on (and including) December 31, [2018].]

  • By way of illustration, the foregoing would allow the Committee to provide for vesting to occur at a particular level if the Peer REIT Total Return of a number of Peer REITs is clustered within a narrow range such that the effect of the precise calculation of percentile rank would be that vesting would not occur or occur at a lower level.

Related to Peer REIT Total Return

  • Total Return means the annual compounded rate of return for an investment fund for a period that would equate the initial value to the redeemable value at the end of the period, expressed as a percentage, and determined by applying the following formula:

  • Peer Group means the group of companies, as more particularly set forth on attached Exhibit A, against which the Relative Total Shareholder Return of the Company is measured over the Incentive Period.

  • annual return means the return required to be made in the case of a company having a share capital, under section 132 and in the case of a company not having a share capital, under section 133;

  • Return on Invested Capital for a period shall mean earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization divided by the difference of total assets less non-interest bearing current liabilities.

  • Total Shareholder Return means the total return (change in share price plus reinvestment of any dividends) of a Share.

  • Total Stockholder Return means the total return (change in share price plus reinvestment of any dividends) of a share of the Company’s common stock.

  • Adjusted Capital Account means the Capital Account maintained for each Partner as of the end of each Fiscal Year (i) increased by any amounts which such Partner is obligated to restore pursuant to any provision of this Agreement or is deemed to be obligated to restore pursuant to the penultimate sentences of Regulations Sections 1.704-2(g)(1) and 1.704-2(i)(5) and (ii) decreased by the items described in Regulations Sections 1.704-1(b)(2)(ii)(d)(4), 1.704-1(b)(2)(ii)(d)(5) and 1.704-1(b)(2)(ii)(d)(6). The foregoing definition of Adjusted Capital Account is intended to comply with the provisions of Regulations Section 1.704-1(b)(2)(ii)(d) and shall be interpreted consistently therewith.

  • Relative Total Shareholder Return or “Relative TSR” means the Company’s TSR compared to the Peer Companies TSR on a relative basis. The Company and the Peer Companies from highest to lowest according to their respective TSRs will determine Relative TSR. After this ranking, the percentile performance of the Company relative to the Peer Companies will be determined using the Percentrank formula in Microsoft Excel.

  • Operating Income means the Company’s or a business unit’s income from operations but excluding any unusual items, determined in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.

  • Total risk-based capital ratio means the Total Risk-Based Capital Ratio determined in accordance with the rules and regulations of the appropriate Regulatory Authority as from time to time in effect, and any successor or other regulation or official interpretation of said Regulatory Authority relating thereto.
