Personal Fall Protection System. When an Employer rents equipment from an Employee that would constitute a “personal fall protection system” as defined in Part 11.1 of WorkSafeBC regulations, the Employer shall compensate the Employee at the rate of $2.00 per day. All such equipment shall, at a minimum, comply with standards prescribed under B.C. law. A1.24 ETCP Certified Riggers and ETCP Certified Entertainment Electricians: Employees required to hold Entertainment Technician Certification Program (ETCP) certification as a condition of hire shall have their scale rate increased by $2.00 per hour.
