Pharmaceutical services committee definition

Pharmaceutical services committee means a committee which develops and maintains written policies and procedures for safe and effective drug therapy, distribution, control, and use which are current and followed in practice. The pharmaceutical services committee shall consist of a staff or consultant pharmacist, a physician, the director of nursing or his/her designee and the administer or his/her designee.

  • Emergency medical services or “EMS” means an integrated medical care delivery system to provide emergency and nonemergency medical care at the scene or during out-of-hospital patient transportation in an ambulance.

  • Medical Advisory Committee means the Medical Advisory Committee established by the Board as required by the Public Hospitals Act;

  • Technical Committee means the body established in accordance with article VII;

  • Regulatory Oversight Committee means the committee of the Board constituted in accordance with Rule 204.

  • Pharmacist services means products, goods, and services, or any combination of products, goods, and services, provided as a part of the practice of pharmacy.

  • Pharmaceutical Product shall have the meaning ascribed to such term in Section 3.1(hh).

  • Collaborative drug therapy management means participation by an authorized pharmacist and a physician in the management of drug therapy pursuant to a written community practice protocol or a written hospital practice protocol.
