Plan Year shall definition

  • If any such claim is denied on appeal, the amount held beyond the end of the Plan Year shall be forfeited and credited to the benefit plan surplus.

  • The Employer’s contributions and available forfeitures for a Plan Year shall be credited as of the last day of the year to the Accounts of the Active Participants in the manner set forth in Section 8.1-2.

  • If an Eligible Participant fails to deliver a new Election Form prior to the commencement of the new Plan Year, his or her Election Form in effect during the previous Plan Year shall continue in effect during the new Plan Year.

  • For this purpose, a contribution for a Plan Year shall be limited for the Limitation Year which ends with or within such Plan Year.

  • If, at any time during a Plan Year, the allocation of any additional Contributions would produce an excess Annual Addition for such year, Contributions to be made for the remainder of the Plan Year shall be limited to the amount needed for each affected Participant to receive the maximum Annual Addition.

  • Claims for the reimbursement of Medical Expenses incurred in any Plan Year shall be paid as soon after a claim has been filed as is administratively practicable; provided however, that if a Participant fails to submit a claim within 90 days after the end of the Plan Year, those Medical Expense claims shall not be considered for reimbursement by the Administrator.

  • The Index for any Plan Year shall be the aggregate annual after-tax income from the life insurance contracts described hereinafter as defined by FASB Technical Bulletin 85-4.

Related to Plan Year shall

  • Plan Year means the calendar year.

  • Deferral Year means each calendar year during which the Director makes, or is entitled to make, Compensation Deferrals under Section 3 hereof.

  • Plan Year(s means the approximate twelve-month periods between annual meetings of the shareholders of the Company, which, for purposes of the Plan, are the periods for which annual retainers are earned.

  • Election Year means a year in which ordinary elections for local governments are required to be held;

  • Excess Elective Deferrals means the amount of Elective Deferrals (as defined below) for a calendar year that the Participant designates to the Plan pursuant to the following procedure. The Participant’s designation: shall be submitted to the Administrator in writing no later than March 1; shall specify the Participant’s Excess Elective Deferrals for the preceding calendar year; and shall be accompanied by the Participant’s written statement that if the Excess Elective Deferrals is not distributed, it will, when added to amounts deferred under other plans or arrangements described in Section 401(k), 408(k) or 403(b) of the Code, exceed the limit imposed on the Participant by Section 402(g) of the Code for the year in which the deferral occurred. Excess Elective Deferrals shall mean those Elective Deferrals that are includible in a Participant's gross income under Section 402(g) of the Code to the extent such Participant's Elective Deferrals for a taxable year exceed the dollar limitation under such Code section.

  • Year of Eligibility Service means, for any Employee, a credit used to determine his eligibility to participate under the Plan, as further described in Section 2.2.

  • Elective Deferral Account means the account established hereunder to which Elective Deferrals (including a separate accounting for Catch-Up Contributions) are allocated. Amounts in the Participant's Elective Deferral Account are nonforfeitable when made and are subject to the distribution restrictions of Section 12.2(e). The Elective Deferral Account may consist of the

  • Election cycle means the period beginning on the first day persons are eligible to

  • Deferral Account means the Company's accounting of the Director's accumulated Deferrals plus accrued interest.

  • Compensation Period has the meaning specified in Section 2.12(c)(ii).

  • Election Period means the period immediately preceding the beginning of each Plan Year established by the Administrator, such period to be applied on a uniform and nondiscriminatory basis for all Employees and Participants. However, an Employee's initial Election Period shall be determined pursuant to Section 5.1.

  • Service Year means fiscal year, except that:

  • One-hundred-year flood means a flood having a one per cent chance of being equaled or exceeded in any given year.

  • Deferral Election Form means the form established from time to time by the Plan Administrator that the Director completes, signs and returns to the Plan Administrator to designate the amount of the Deferrals.

  • completed year of service means continuous service for one year;

  • Year of Service means the computation period of twelve (12) consecutive months, herein set forth, during which an Employee has at least 1000 Hours of Service.

  • Compensation Year means a period of 12 months expiring 31 March in any year;

  • Deferral Contribution means any contribution made to the Plan by the Employer in accordance with the provisions of Section 5.03.

  • Deferral Date means the date Fees would otherwise have been paid to the Participant.

  • Elective Deferral means the portion of Compensation which is deferred by a Participant under Section 4.1.

  • Enrollment Period means that period of time prescribed by the Administrator, which period shall conclude prior to the Offering Date, during which Eligible Employees may elect to participate in an Offering Period. The duration and timing of Enrollment Periods may be changed or modified by the Administrator from time to time.

  • Compensation Deferral means the amount or amounts of the Director's Compensation deferred under the provisions of Section 3 of this Agreement.

  • Plan Period means the period designated in Section 4.
