Police Commission definition

Police Commission means the Commission as set out in the City of Edmonton Bylaw No. 4138.
Police Commission means the Blood Tribe Police Commission established and appointed under this Bylaw to govern the Police Service.
Police Commission means the Town’s Board of Police Commissioners.

  • If not satisfied at the Chief of Police level, an appeal may be made to the Police Commission, which is the final level of administrative appeal.

  • The union may serve written notice of the grievance to the Police Commission, or designee, within ten (10) business days following (a) receipt of the written response at Step 1, or (b) the last day of the response period provided for in Step 1.

  • If the grievance is not settled at Step 1, or by the Police Commission in the Police Department, the Union may file for arbitration pursuant to the procedure in Step 4 – Arbitration, above.

  • The Union may serve written notice of the grievance to the Police Commission, or designee, within ten (10) business days following (a) receipt of the written response at Step 1, or (b) the last day of the response period provided for in Step 1.

  • If the emergency grievance is not satisfied by the Chief of Police under the Emergency Grievance Review Procedure, the grievant may serve written notice of the grievance in appropriate form upon the Police Commission or its designee(s) within ten calendar days following receipt of the grievance response.

Related to Police Commission

  • Public Service Commission means the Public Service Commission constituted under this Constitution;

  • Civil Service Commission means the commission required under Section 5 of Article XI of the Michigan Constitution of 1963.
