Policing Body definition

Policing Body. All of the Police and Crime Commissioners, the Greater Manchester Combined Authority, the MOPAC or the Common Council of the City of London in England and any relevant police authorities;

Policing Body. All of the Police and Crime Commissioners or the MOPAC or the Common Council of the City of London in England and any relevant police authorities including the British Transport Police Authority and the MOD Police Committee and any other body listed under the heading “Policing Body” in the recitals to this Agreement; “Policing Protocol” Policing Protocol Order 2011, which was made pursuant to section 79(1) and (5) of the Police Reform and Social Responsibility Xxx 0000;

Policing Body means a local policing body (as defined under section 101 of the PA96) who is a signatory to this Agreement and any successor body;

• Each participating Local Policing Body shows its share of the carried forward surplus in its accounts.

• This Counter Terrorism Policing Grant is allocated on an annual basis by the Home Secretary and Security Minister, taking into account advice from the Counter Terrorism Coordination Committee, in terms of the total amount to be allocated, the amount to be allocated to each Policing Body and the specific purposes for which it should be used (Grant Deliverables).

• The receiving Responsible Policing Body (PCC) or Responsible Chief Officer dealing with the complaint or enquiry may, if in the wider counter terrorism policing interest, consult, if appropriate, with the Chair of the Counter Terrorism Coordination Committee before responding to that complaint or enquiry.

• For the purposes of this clause 20.1 in relation to those Responsible Policing Bodies and Responsible Chief Officers who have entered into a Local Collaboration Arrangement, only the Nominated Policing Body and Nominated Chief Officer shall be deemed to be a Responsible Chief Officer or a “Party” for the purposes of ascertaining whether this Agreement should be terminated.

• On a day-to day basis each officer and member of staff working within the Agreement will be line managed by officers and staff within the command structure, irrespective of which is the appointing Force or employing Local Policing Body of those being line managed and those line managing.

• This Section 17.6 shall not apply to any information which is in or enters into the public domain otherwise in breach of any undertaking of confidentiality or which any Party is obliged to disclose for the purpose of discharging police or Local Policing Body functions or pursuant to any legal obligation.

• As at the Effective Date, the Parties agree that in relation to the Financial Year 2016/2017 each Policing Body shall be responsible for paying an amount equal to their respective FSS Allocation (which is set out in Table 2) in relation to the agreed funding to be provided by the Policing Bodies as set out in Table 1 below.

• The NPAS service is funded from contributions made by each Policing Body receiving a service.
