City Attorney means the City Attorney of the City or any person designated by the City Attorney to perform one or more of the duties of the City Attorney under this Agreement.
County Attorney means the County Attorney of the County of Suffolk.

Power of Attorney means a record that grants an agent authority to act in the place of a principal.
Attorney means, if appointed to represent a child under the provisions referenced in section 5213, an attorney serving as the child's legal advocate in the manner defined and described in section 13a of chapter XIIA of the probate code of 1939, 1939 PA 288, MCL 712A.13a.
Bailee Agreement means a Bailee Agreement among Seller, Buyer and Bailee in the form of Exhibit IV hereto.
Letter of Intent (LOI means an intimation by a letter to Bidder that their Tender has been accepted in accordance with the provisions contained in the letter and hence to take preparatory steps and compliance of formalities to commence the work from the date desired by Owner.
Director of Public Works means the Director of the Department of Public Works, or his or her designee.

Prosecuting attorney means the prosecuting attorney for a county, an assistant prosecuting attorney for a county, the attorney general, the deputy attorney general, an assistant attorney general, a special prosecuting attorney, or, in connection with the prosecution of an ordinance violation, an attorney for the political subdivision that enacted the ordinance upon which the violation is based.
Letter of Intent means the intimation by a letter / email / fax to the bidder that the tender has been accepted in accordance with provision contained in that letter. The responsibility of the contractor commences from the date of issue of this letter and all the terms and conditions of contract are applicable from this date.
Solicitor means any person, firm or corporation who goes from dwelling to dwelling, business to business, place to place, or from street to street, taking or attempting to take orders for any goods, wares or merchandise, or personal property of any nature whatever for future delivery, except that the term shall not include solicitors for charitable and religious purposes and solicitors for subscriptions as those terms are defined below.

General Affirmations means the statements in Attachment C, attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes, that Developer agrees to and affirms by executing this Contract.
Sponsor Letter Agreement has the meaning set forth in the recitals to this Agreement.
attorney-at-law means an attorney-at-law, a legal practitioner or advocate duly admitted to practise law in the courts of a Contracting Party;
LETTER OF INTENT/FAX OF INTENT means intimation by a Fax/Letter to Tenderer(s) that the tender has been accepted in accordance with the provisions contained in the letter.
Telephone solicitor means any person doing business in this state who makes or causes to be made a telephone solicitation from within or outside of this state, including, but not limited to, calls made by use of automated dialing and announcing devices or by a live person.
Contract Signature Page(s) means the cover page(s) that the Department and Contractor sign.
Instruction Letter means written instructions in a form acceptable to NCPS and executed by Issuer Party with Issuer Party directing NCPS to promptly disburse the Escrow Funds to Issuer pursuant to Section 4(a).
Representation Letter Letters to, or agreements with, the Depository to effectuate a book entry system with respect to the Class A Certificates registered in the Register under the nominee name of the Depository.
Customs Broker Agreement means an agreement in form and substance reasonably satisfactory to the Agent among a Loan Party, a customs broker, freight forwarder, consolidator or carrier, and the Agent, in which the customs broker, freight forwarder, consolidator or carrier acknowledges that it has control over and holds the documents evidencing ownership of the subject Inventory for the benefit of the Agent and agrees to hold and dispose of the subject Inventory solely as directed by the Agent.
