Predecessor Unit definition

Predecessor Unit. With respect to any particular Unit, every previous Unit evidencing all or a portion of the same interest as that evidenced by such particular Unit; and, for the purpose of this definition, any Unit authenticated and delivered under Section 5.04 in lieu of a lost, destroyed or stolen Unit shall be deemed to evidence the same interest as the lost, destroyed or stolen Unit.

  • Subject to Section 503, the Company shall pay, on each Quarterly Payment Date, the Contract Fees payable in respect of each Purchase Contract to the Person in whose name the Unit Certificate (or one or more Predecessor Unit Certificates) evidencing such Purchase Contract is registered at the close of business on the Record Date next preceding such Quarterly Payment Date.

  • Interest on any Pledged Security that is paid on any Quarterly Payment Date shall, subject to receipt thereof by the Purchase Contract Agent from the Collateral Agent as provided by the terms of the Pledge Agreement, be paid to the Person in whose name the Unit Certificate (or one or more Predecessor Unit Certificates) of which such Pledged Security is a part is registered at the close of business on the Record Date next preceding such Quarterly Payment Date.

  • Record Holder or “Holder” as applied to a Receipt shall mean the person in whose name such Receipt is registered on the books of the Depositary maintained for such purpose.

  • Successor Securities has the meaning specified in Section 9.5(a).

  • FTPS Unit means Units which are purchased through the Fund/SERV(R) trading system or on a manual basis through FTP Services LLC or for which FTP Services LLC is acting as FTPS Unit Servicing Agent.

  • Unit Share has the meaning ascribed thereto in the first paragraph of this Agreement;
