Probationary Employee means a person who is employed but who has worked less than the prescribed probationary period.
Probationary Period means a working test period during which an employee is required to demonstrate his fitness for the position to which he/she is appointed by actual performance of its duties.
Licensed physician means a person licensed to practice
Probation means a period of six (6) months from the day upon which an employee is first appointed or a period of three (3) months after an employee has been transferred or promoted. If an employee does not successfully complete his probationary period on transfer or promotion, the Employer shall appoint him to a position comparable to the one from which he was transferred or promoted;
Active license means a license that is current and has not expired.
Professional Technologist means a person holding registration as Professional Engineering Technologist in terms of the Engineering Profession Act, 2000.
Inactive license means a license that has expired because it was not renewed by the end of the grace period. The category of “inactive license” may include licenses formerly known as lapsed, inactive, delinquent, closed, or retired.
