Approved Leave of Absence definition

Approved Leave of Absence means a leave of absence that has been approved by the applicable Participating Company in such a manner as the Board may determine from time to time.
Approved Leave of Absence means an absence from active service pursuant to an approved leave policy with a guaranteed right of reinstatement.
Approved Leave of Absence means an absence from active service (a) due to an individual’s inability to perform his or her regular job duties by reason of illness or injury and resulting in eligibility to receive benefits pursuant to the terms of the IAC Short-Term Disability Plan or the IAC Long-Term Disability Plan, or (b) pursuant to an approved leave policy with a guaranteed right of reinstatement.

Examples of Approved Leave of Absence in a sentence

  • A Participant who has been on an Approved Leave of Absence for more than 90 days shall not be eligible to participate in any Offering that begins on or after the commencement of such Approved Leave of Absence so long as such leave of absence continues.

  • In the event of an Approved Leave of Absence, vesting of RSUs shall be suspended (and all subsequent vesting dates shall be postponed by the length of the period of the Approved Leave of Absence) unless otherwise provided in the Company’s written approval of the leave of absence that specifically refers to this Agreement.

  • Termination by the Participating Company of an Employee's Approved Leave of Absence, other than termination or return to non-temporary employment, shall terminate an Employee's employment for all purposes of the Plan and shall terminate such Employee's participation in the Plan and the right to exercise any option.

  • Probationary periods shall be extended for employees where they are off work on an Approved Leave of Absence, excluding lay-off.

  • An Approved Leave of Absence shall not be deemed a termination of employment for purposes of this Plan, but the period of such Approved Leave of Absence shall not be counted toward satisfaction of any Restriction Period or Unit Restriction Period or any holding period described in Section 6(c).


More Definitions of Approved Leave of Absence

Approved Leave of Absence means a leave of absence of definite length approved by the Senior Vice President - Human Resources of the Company, or by any other officer of the Company to whom the Committee delegates such authority.
