Abuse of authority means an arbitrary and capricious exercise of authority that is inconsistent with the mission of the executive agency concerned or the successful performance of a contract of such agency.
certificate of authorization means a certificate of authorization issued to a professional corporation pursuant to the Public Accounting Act, 2004 to permit it to engage in the practice of public accounting;
Claims Administration means the processing of claims made under the Shared Policies, including the reporting of claims to the insurance carriers, management and defense of claims and providing for appropriate releases upon settlement of claims.

Claims Administrator means the firm proposed by Class Counsel and appointed by the Courts to administer the Settlement Amount in accordance with the provisions of this Settlement Agreement and the Distribution Protocol, and any employees of such firm.
Health Authority means the regional health board designated under the Health Authority Act, RSBC 1996, c.180, or the Provincial Health Services Authority, to which the Participant is designated under Schedule 1 (Return of Service Placement Process) of this Contract, unless designated otherwise by the Province;
