Protocol Area definition

Protocol Area means all parts of the Continental Shelf of a Contracting State which fall within the Sea Area as defined in paragraph (a) of Article II of the Convention and all parts of its Continental Shelf contiguous therewith;
Protocol Area means the land area as noted in the attached map at Appendix A;
Protocol Area means the land area as noted in the attached map at Attachment A, together with the adjacent waters;

  • For the purpose of this Protocol, cultural materials are plants, plant materials, and materials derived from animals, marine mammals or birds for which the Department is responsible within the DOC Protocol Area and which are important to the governance entity in maintaining and expressing its cultural values and practices.
