A Provincial Union Contract with a Player who was selected in the initial All Blacks squad for the Rugby Championship in the same Contract Year as the Premier Competition is excluded from this calculation (so that, depending on All Blacks selection, a Provincial Union may be required to be a party to more than 26 Provincial Union Contracts in a particular Contract Year).
The NZRU may terminate a Provincial Union Contract or Provincial Union Development Contract in the case of Serious Misconduct, in accordance with this Collective Agreement.
Upon termination of an NZ Rugby Contract only a Player may, at his option, also automatically terminate any other Contract under this Collective Agreement to which he also is a party (including, subject to this Collective Agreement, a Provincial Union Contract).
