Local Union means a bargaining unit representing employees at an institution that has ratified a Collective Agreement that includes this Common Agreement.

Local Union refers to the constituent local of the UNION at a College/University.

If an Owner-Operator is engaged, as mutually agreed to by the Employer and the Local Union, then such Owner-Operator shall obtain a clearance from the Local Union dispatch office prior to commencement of work and he shall be deemed to be an employee and he shall be paid all applicable rates and conditions accordingly.

More Definitions of Local Union

Local Union as used herein refers to the IBT Local Union which represents the employees of the Employer at the par- ticular place or places of business to which this Agreement, and the Supplements, Riders or Addenda thereto are applicable, unless by agreement of the Local Unions involved or by directive issued pur- suant to the IBT International Constitution.
