Psychiatric unit definition

Psychiatric unit means a unit of a general hospital that provides inpatient services for individuals with serious mental illness or serious emotional disturbance. As used in this subsection, "general hospital" means a hospital as defined in section 20106 of the public health code, 1978 PA 368, MCL 333.20106.
