Public dance, as that word is defined by N.D.C.C. Section 53-02-01.
Public dance hall$100.00 per year or fraction thereof All annual license fees provided in this Section shall be payable on January 1 of each and every year.
Public dance hall” means a place where dancing is conducted, whether for profit or not for profit, and to which the public is admitted, either with or without charge or at which the public is allowed to participate in the dancing, either with or without charge.
Public dance halls do not include Teen dance clubs as defined below.
Public dance halls, as hereinafter defined, shall be closed at 12:00, midnight, on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights of each week, and remain closed until 8:00 o’clock a.m. the following morning; and on Saturday night of each week said dance halls shall be close at 12:00 o’clock, midnight, and remain closed until 8:00 a.m. the following Monday morning.
