Public External Indebtedness definition

Public External Indebtedness means any External Indebtedness which is in the form of, or represented by, notes, bonds or other securities which are for the time being quoted, listed or ordinarily dealt in on any stock exchange.
Public External Indebtedness means any Public Indebtedness that is payable by its terms or at the option of its holder in any currency other than the currency of Mexico (other than any such Public Indebtedness that is originally issued or incurred within Mexico). For this purpose, settlement of original issuance by delivery of Public Indebtedness (or the instruments evidencing such Public Indebtedness) within Mexico shall be deemed to be original issuance within Mexico;
Public External Indebtedness means any indebtedness of the Bank (or, for the purposes of Condition 10, any Subsidiary), or any guarantee or indemnity by the Bank of indebtedness, for money borrowed which, (i) is in the form of or represented by any bond, note, debenture, debenture stock, loan stock, certificate or other instrument which is issued outside the People’s Republic of China (for the purposes hereof not including the Hong Kong and Macau Special Administrative Regions or Taiwan) (“PRC”) and is, or is capable of being listed, quoted or traded on any stock exchange or in any securities market (including, without limitation, any over-the-counter market) outside the PRC (without regard, however, to whether or not such instruments are sold through public offerings or private placements); and (ii) has an original maturity of more than 365 days.

  • The Bonds rank and will rank without any preference among themselves and equally with all other unsubordinated Public External Indebtedness of the Republic.

  • It is understood that this provision shall not be construed so as to require the Republic to make payments under the Bonds ratably with payments being made under any other Public External Indebtedness.

Public External Indebtedness means any External Indebtedness which is in the form of, or represented by, bonds, Securities or other securities which are for the time being or are capable of being or intended to be quoted, listed or ordinarily dealt in on any stock exchange, automated trading system, over-the-counter or other securities market.
Public External Indebtedness means any External Indebtedness of, or guaranteed by, the Republic which (i) is publicly offered or privately placed in securities markets, (ii) is in the form of, or represented by, bonds, notes or other securities or any guarantees thereof and (iii) is, or was intended at the time of issue to be, quoted, listed or traded on any stock exchange, automated trading system or over-the-counter securities market (including securities eligible for sale pursuant to Rule 144A under the U.S. Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the “Securities Act”) (or any successor law or regulation of similar effect)).
Public External Indebtedness means any Public Indebtedness which is not issued pursuant to agreements or evidenced by instruments that submit the resolution of all disputes arising thereunder to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic; and
