publicly traded company means any company whose principal class of shares is listed on a recognised stock exchange provided its listed shares can be readily purchased or sold by the public. Shares can be purchased or sold “by the public” if the purchase or sale of shares is not implicitly or explicitly restricted to a limited group of investors;
Publicly traded corporation means any Person other than an individual that is organized under the laws of and for which its principal place of business is located in one of the states or territories of the United States or District of Columbia or another country that authorizes the sale of marijuana that:
Publicly traded partnership means any partnership, an interest in which is regularly traded on an established securities market. A “publicly traded partnership” may have any number of partners.
Publicly Traded Equity Interest means any Equity Interest that is traded on any securities exchange or is quoted in any publication or electronic reporting service maintained by the National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc., or any other comparable organization or entity in which your shares are listed or traded, or any of their successors.
Publicly Traded Securities means shares of common stock, depositary receipts or other certificates representing common equity interests, in each case, that are traded on a national securities exchange or that will be so traded when issued or exchanged in connection with a Fundamental Change described in clause (a) or (b) of the definition thereof.
Exchange-traded fund (ETF means an investment company registered under the Investment Company Act as a unit investment trust (“UIT ETF”) or as an open-end investment company (“open-end ETF”) that is comprised of a basket of securities to replicate a securities index or subset of securities underlying an index. ETFs are traded on securities exchanges and in the over-the-counter markets intra-day at negotiated prices.
Exchange Traded Fund means a mutual fund scheme that invests in securities in the same proportion as an index of securities and the units of exchange traded fund are mandatorily listed and traded on exchange platform.
Investment Company Act Event means that the Company shall have received an Opinion of Counsel to the effect that, as a result of the occurrence of a change in law or regulation or a written change in interpretation or application of law or regulation by any legislative body, court, governmental agency or regulatory authority, there is more than an insubstantial risk that the Securities Trust is or will be considered an "investment company" that is required to be registered under the Investment Company Act of 1940, as amended, which change becomes effective on or after the Original Issue Date.
Nonresident unincorporated business entity means an unincorporated business entity not having an office or place of business within the Municipality.

Publicly Traded means a company that (i) has a class of securities that is traded on a national securities exchange and (ii) is required to file periodic reports with either the Securities and Exchange Commission or its primary federal bank regulator.
Resident unincorporated business entity means an unincorporated business entity having an office or place of business within the Municipality.
Qualified nonprofit organization means, with respect to a Project, an organization exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c) (3) or (4) of the Internal Revenue Code, which is not and during the Compliance Period will not be affiliated with or controlled by a for-profit organization, whose exempt purposes include the fostering of low income housing, which owns an interest in the Project, which will materially participate in the development and operation of the Project throughout the Compliance Period, and which is not affiliated with or controlled by a for-profit organization.
Disregarded Entity means a single member limited liability company, a qualifying subchapter S subsidiary, or another entity if the company, subsidiary, or entity is a disregarded entity for federal income tax purposes.

Taxable REIT Subsidiary means, as to Host REIT and with regard to Host REIT’s taxable years commencing after December 31, 2000, any of Fernwood, Rockledge or any other TRS of Host REIT, and, as to any Subsidiary REIT, any TRS of such Subsidiary REIT.
Restricted Fund means a fund in which the use of the principal or principal and income is restricted by agreement with, or direction by, the donor to a specific purpose. Restricted fund does not include a fund over which the owner has complete control. The owner is deemed to have complete control over a fund that is to be used for general operating or building purposes.
Nationally tracked source means a sealed source containing a quantity equal to or greater than Category 1 or Category 2 levels of any radioactive material listed in 12VAC5-481-3780. In this context a sealed source is defined as radioactive material that is sealed in a capsule or closely bonded, in a solid form and that is not exempt from regulatory control. It does not mean material encapsulated solely for disposal, or nuclear material contained in any fuel assembly, subassembly, fuel rod, or fuel pellet. Category 1 nationally tracked sources are those containing radioactive material at a quantity equal to or greater than the Category 1 threshold. Category 2 nationally tracked sources are those containing radioactive material at a quantity equal to or greater than the Category 2 threshold but less than the Category 1 threshold.
