Queensland Competition Authority definition

Queensland Competition Authority or “QCA” means the authority established under the Queensland Competition Authority Act 1997 (Qld);

  • Relevant Resolution Authority means the resolution authority with the ability to exercise any Bail-in Powers in relation to the relevant BRRD Party.

  • Registration Authority or “RA” means an entity approved by a CA to assist Certificate Applicants in applying for Certificates, and to approve or reject Certificate Applications, revoke Certificates, or renew Certificates.

  • EEA Agreement means the Agreement on the European Economic Area signed at Oporto on 2nd May 1992 as adjusted by the Protocol signed at Brussels on 17th March 1993;

  • Competition Act means the Competition Act (Canada).

  • Governmental Antitrust Authority has the meaning set forth in Section 5.11(b).

  • Government means the Government of Kenya;

  • Competition Law means all Laws that are designed or intended to prohibit, restrict or regulate actions having the purpose or effect of monopolization or restraint of trade or lessening of competition through a merger or acquisition.

  • Antitrust Authority means the Antitrust Division of the United States Department of Justice or the United States Federal Trade Commission.

  • Government Instrumentality means any department, division or sub- division of the Government or the State Government and includes any commission, board, authority, agency or municipal and other local authority or statutory body including panchayat under the control of the Government or the State Government, as the case may be, and having jurisdiction over all or any part of the Project Highway or the performance of all or any of the services or obligations of the Contractor under or pursuant to this Agreement;

  • Competitions means any competition comprised within the Event where the winner is awarded a prize. A Competition may be comprised of one or more qualification phase/sections, runs or heats, including official training sessions. In the FIS Rules, Competitions are sometimes also referred to as “races”.
