Records area definition

Records area means a designated area in an office where vital records are stored and where they are made available for public use;
Records area means a records storage area, a designated processing area, an exhibit area, or a preservation (conservation, duplication, microfilm, digital imaging) laboratory. The term covers areas where records may be kept for extended periods.
