Competent Body means any body that has authority to issue standards or recommendations with which either Party must comply
Arbitrators has the meaning set forth in Section 9.2(iii).
Arbiter has the meaning set forth in Section 1.05(d).
Arbitrator means the authority nominated by Chief General Manager (CGM) for arbitration.
Dispute Board (DB) means the person or persons named as such in the SCC appointed by agreement between the Procuring Entity and the Contractor to make a decision with respect to any dispute or difference between the Procuring Entity and the Contractor referred to him or her by the Parties pursuant to GCC Sub-Clause 46.1 (Dispute Board) hereof.
Referee means a person who is designated as a referee under the friend of the court act.
Arbitration Panel shall have the meaning set forth in Section 3 hereof.
Umpire in this procedure means a Cricket Australia accredited Umpire. Only a Cricket Australia accredited Umpire may “Mention” or “Report” a player under this procedure.
Mediation means any process in which a mediator facilitates communication and negotiation between the parties to assist them in reaching a voluntary agreement regarding their dispute.
Mediator means an individual who conducts a mediation.
Hearing Body or “Hearing Panel” means any person or persons authorized by the University Vice President for Student Affairs, Community College Dean of Students or Charter Oak State College Provost to determine whether a student has violated the Code and to impose sanctions as warranted, including a hearing officer or hearing board.
Arbitration Tribunal means an organ composed of an odd number of persons known as arbitrators, who decide on the solution of a conflict in which the parties have expressly waived recourse to the ordinary civil courts
NHS body has the meaning given to it in section 275 of the National Health Service Act 2006 as amended by section 138(2)(c) of Schedule 4 to the Health and Social Care Act 2012;
supervisory body means a functionary or institution referred to in Schedule 2;
Panel means the Panel on Takeovers and Mergers;
Appellate Decision-maker means a person who considers and decides appeals of determinations regarding responsibility and dismissals of formal complaints. The Appellate Decision-maker cannot be the same person as the Title IX Coordinator, Investigator, or Decision-maker. The Appellate Decision-maker may be a school district employee, or a third party designated by the school district.
Arbitral Tribunal means a sole arbitrator or a panel of arbitrators;
Judge means a Judge of the Court;
Alternative dispute resolution means mediation, arbitration, conciliation, or other nonjudicial procedure that involves a neutral party in the decisionmaking process. The form of alternative dispute resolution chosen pursuant to this article may be binding or nonbinding, with the voluntary consent of the parties.
Appellate Tribunal means the Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal referred to in section 109;
Adverse decision means any decision by a review agent not to certify an admission,
Permanency hearing means a hearing, conducted with respect to a child who is in foster care, to determine the permanency plan for the child which includes:
Technical Dispute has the meaning specified in Section 12.2;
Initiating tribunal means the tribunal of a state or foreign country from which a petition or comparable pleading is forwarded or in which a petition or comparable pleading is filed for forwarding to another state or foreign country.
Arbitration means any arbitration whether or not administered by a permanent arbitral institution;
Appeal Tribunal means the all-citizen Tribunal duly appointed by Council to conduct hearings under this By-law; (200-08)
