Reference weight definition

Reference weight means the weight of the vehicle in running order, increased by a uniform weight of 120 kg. The weight of the vehicle in running order is its total unladen weight with all tanks full—with the exception of the fuel tank, which must only be half full—and a set of tools and the spare wheel on board.

Monthly Period: Each period from and including the 12th day of any calendar month to but excluding the same day of the immediately succeeding calendar month.   • Tare Weight means the weight of an empty shipping container, excluding all materials used for wrapping, cushioning, banding, waterproofing, packaging, blocking and bracing articles within the exterior container.

  • Dry weight basis means 100 percent solids (i.e. zero percent moisture).
