Conciliation means the attempted resolution of issues raised by a complaint, or by the investigation of such complaint, through informal negotiations involving the aggrieved person, the respondent, and the Secretary.
General Bar Date means June 15, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) for certain Claims arising before the Petition Date, including 503(b)(9) Claims, Secured Claims, General Unsecured Claims, or Priority Non-Tax Claims as established by the Bar Date Order.
Regional Center means a diagnostic, counseling, and service coordination center for developmentally disabled persons and their families which is established and operated pursuant to the Welfare and Institutions Code, Sections 4620 through 4669, by a private nonprofit community agency or corporation acting as a contracting agency. As used in these regulations, any reference to the regional center shall, by reference, be applicable to those agencies or persons with which the regional center contracts to provide service coordination to consumers under the provisions of the Welfare and Institutions Code, Section 4648;
Aboriginal child means a child who is an Aboriginal person
Operation of a System of Records means performance of any of the activities associated with maintaining the SOR, including the collection, use, maintenance, and dissemination of records.
International Classification means the Classification established under the Locarno Agreement Establishing an International Classification for Industrial Designs;
international carriage means any carriage in which, according to the contract of carriage, the place of departure and the place of destination are situated in two different States, or in a single State if, according to the contract of carriage or the scheduled itinerary, there is an intermediate port of call in another State;
Approved Petroleum Engineer means any reputable firm of independent petroleum engineers as shall be selected by Borrower and approved by Administrative Agent, such approval not to be unreasonably withheld.
Civil Service Commission means the commission required under Section 5 of Article XI of the Michigan Constitution of 1963.
Approved Petroleum Engineers means (a) Netherland, Xxxxxx & Associates, Inc., (b) Xxxxx Xxxxx Company Petroleum Consultants, L.P. and (c) any other independent petroleum engineers reasonably acceptable to the Administrative Agent.
Geneva Convention means the Convention of 28 July 1951 relating to the status of refugees, as amended by the New York Protocol of 31 January 1967;
Generally accepted auditing standards means Canadian Generally Accepted Auditing Standards as adopted by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants applicable as of the date on which such record is kept or required to be kept in accordance with such standards.
Hague Convention means the Convention on the Service Abroad of Judicial and Extra Judicial Documents in Civil or Commercial Matters done at the Hague on 15 November 1965;
Regional Centre means a centre established or maintained by the University for the purpose of co-ordinating and supervising the work of Study Centres in any region and for performing such other functions as may be conferred on such centre by the Board of Management;
conciliator means an individual appointed as such in terms of section 82;
Public work means public work as defined in section 2 of P.L.1963, c.150 (C. 34:11-56.26) and which is subject to the provisions of P.L.1963, c.150 (C. 34:11-56.25 et seq.). Public work shall not include the provision of goods or products.
Public transit district means a public transit district organized under Title 17B, Chapter 2a, Part 8, Public Transit District Act.
NZOC Nomination and Selection Regulation means the regulation of NZOC relation to the nomination and selection Process for all Olympic and Commonwealth games, including the Games.
Agricultural operation means an agricultural operation as defined in the Agricultural Operation Practices Act;
Public Governor means a member of the Council of Governors elected by the members of one of the Public Constituencies;
Public Procurement means the acquisition by any means of goods, works or services by the government;
Redevelopment Commission means the Fishers Redevelopment Commission.
application for international protection means a request made by a third country national or a stateless person for protection from a Member State, who can be understood to seek refugee status or subsidiary protection status, and who does not explicitly request another kind of protection, outside the scope of this Directive, that can be applied for separately;
Gestational carrier means an adult woman who enters into an agreement to have an embryo implanted in her and bear the resulting child for intended parents, where the embryo is conceived by using the egg and sperm of the intended parents.
Construction industry means the work activity designated in sector group 23 - construction of the North American classification system - United States Office of Management and Budget, 1997 edition.
Improvement district means a local district that operates under and is subject to the provisions of this chapter and Chapter 2a, Part 4, Improvement District Act, including an entity that was created and operated as a county improvement district under the law in effect before April 30, 2007.
