Registered Contact definition

Registered Contact means a person who is over 16, and is either the Eligible Child or an individual with parental responsibility for the Eligible Child. All correspondence in relation to the JISA will be sent to the Registered Contact.
Registered Contact means the person who can give instructions for the management of the account.
Registered Contact means a person with parental responsibility for an eligible child who applies to open a Junior ISA on their behalf.

Examples of Registered Contact in a sentence

  • Where the Eligible Child is terminally ill, subject to the definitions and conditions of the ISA Regulations, the Junior ISA will be closed upon receipt of evidence prescribed under the ISA Regulations and the proceeds shall be paid to the Registered Contact.

  • In this event, no withdrawals can be made from a Junior ISA unless the Registered Contact has made a claim to HMRC to be allowed access to the investments held in the Junior ISA, and we have received a valid approval from HMRC.

Registered Contact means the applicant named on the JISA application form, or a subsequently dated Change of Registered Contact Form as having, inter alia, parental responsibility for the child (the “Investor”).
