Regulated Maryland Hospital definition

Regulated Maryland Hospital means a hospital located in Maryland for which payments are regulated by the State for all payers including Medicare and that is listed in Appendix 1 of the Model Agreement, as updated from time to time.

  • The Hospital is eligible to participate in the CRP only if it is a Regulated Maryland Hospital.

  • For a given Performance Year, by no later than May 1 of the subsequent Performance Year, CMS shall calculate the Regulated Maryland Hospital Readmission Rate and the national Readmission Rate in accordance with the methodology set forth in Appendix 5.

  • Prior to the start of MY1 (January 1, 2019), the State shall provide a percentage difference between the rate established by the HSCRC for a Regulated Maryland Hospital for a given charge and the lesser rate to be paid by public payers (Medicare, Medicaid, and CHIP) to a Regulated Maryland Hospital for the same charge (“Public Payer Differential”).

  • public hospital means a governmental entity of a political subdivision of the state of Iowa that is authorized by legislative authority. For purposes of this subrule, a “public hospital” must also meet the requirements of Iowa Code section 249J.3. Under Iowa Code section 249J.3, a “public hospital” must be licensed pursuant to Iowa Code chapter 135B and governed pursuant to Iowa Code chapter 145A (merged hospitals), Iowa Code chapter 347 (county hospitals), Iowa Code chapter 347A (county hospitals payable from revenue), or Iowa Code chapter 392 (creation by city of a hospital or health care facility). For the purposes of this definition, “public hospital” does not include a hospital or medical care facility that is funded, operated, or administered by the Iowa department of human services, Iowa department of corrections, or board of regents, or the Iowa Veterans Home.

  • State hospital means the Arizona state hospital.

  • School District/Public Entity means the School District/Public Entity that executes the contract.

  • Regulated Insurance Company means any Subsidiary of the Borrower, whether now owned or hereafter acquired, that is authorized or admitted to carry on or transact Insurance Business in any jurisdiction and is regulated by any Applicable Insurance Regulatory Authority.

  • Empowerment Neighborhoods means neighborhoods designated by the Urban Coordinating Council “in consultation and conjunction with” the New Jersey Redevelopment Authority pursuant to N.J.S.A 55:19-69.

  • Virginia Stormwater Management Program authority or "VSMP authority" means an authority approved by the State Board after September 13, 2011, to operate a Virginia Stormwater Management Program.

  • Appraisal management company means, in connection with valuing properties collateralizing mortgage loans or mortgages incorporated into a securitization, any external third party that oversees a network or panel of more than fifteen certified or licensed appraisers in this state or twenty-five or more nationally within a given year, that is authorized either by a creditor of a consumer credit transaction secured by a consumer's principal dwelling or by an underwriter or other principal in the secondary mortgage markets that engages in appraisal management services.

  • Michigan state housing development authority means the public body corporate and politic created by Section 21 of the State Housing Development Authority Act of 1966, 1966 PA 346, MCL 125.1421.

  • Senior citizen center means a facility having the primary purpose of providing services to the aged as defined in Section 62A-3-101.

  • General hospital means a subclass of hospital that provides surgical services and emergency services.

Such licensed entity must be principally engaged in providing pain relief, symptom management, and supportive services to terminally ill Members and their families.

  • Authority Electronic Property means (i) any websites controlled by the Authority, (ii) any Authority mobile device apps, (iii) any application programming interfaces (API) to the Authority’s information technology systems, (iv) any other kiosks, devices or properties for consumer interaction that are created, owned, or controlled by the Author- ity, and (v) versions and successors of the foregoing, any form or format now known or later developed, that may be used by customers obtaining products or services from the Authority.

  • Health care plan means any contract, policy or other arrangement for benefits or services for medical or dental care or treatment under:

  • School District/Public Entity means the School District/Public Entity that executes the contract.
