Relative ROAE definition

Relative ROAE means Company ROAE as such amount stands in relation to the return on average equity (determined in the same way that the Company ROAE is determined) for the Annual Cash Bonus Measurement Period of the entities (other than the Company) included in the Peer Group described below. Relative ROAE will be measured from the end of the third fiscal quarter of the calendar year immediately preceding the beginning of the Annual Cash Bonus Performance Period through the end of the third fiscal quarter of the Annual Cash Bonus Performance Period (i.e. Q3 to Q3 measurement period) (the “Annual Cash Bonus Measurement Period”).
Relative ROAE for the Relative ROAE Performance Period has the meaning given to such term by, and is calculated as set forth under, “Calculation of Relative ROAE” below.
Relative ROAE for the Relative ROAE Performance Period means the Company’s ROAE relative to the ROAE of each of the Peer Companies for the Relative ROAE Performance Period. “Relative ROAE” for the Relative ROAE Performance Period will be determined by ranking the Company and the Peer Companies from highest to lowest according to their respective ROAEs for the Relative ROAE Performance Period. After this ranking, the percentile performance of the Company relative to the Peer Companies will be determined as follows: where:

Examples of Relative ROAE in a sentence

  • The Performance Stock Units consist of two components: (i) a Relative ROAE component, which shall constitute 50 percent of the Number of Performance Stock Units; and (ii) an ROAA component, which shall constitute 50 percent of the Number of Performance Stock Units.

  • The Committee shall review and approve: (a) the Relative ROAE for the Relative ROAE Performance Period; and (b) the ROAA for the ROAA Performance Period.

  • Regardless of the level of achievement against the Relative ROAE Performance Goal, in the event that the Company’s ROAE is less than zero, the number of Earned PSUs for the Relative ROAE Performance Goal shall not exceed the product of: (i) the Number of Performance Stock Units subject to the Relative ROAE Performance Goal; and (ii) the percentage set forth above on this Exhibit A at Target, rounded down to a whole number.

  • Total Open-End Mutual Fund Average Net Assets means the average of all of the determinations of the aggregate net assets of all open-end funds sponsored by Xxxxxx Management (excluding the net assets of such funds investing in, or invested in by, other such funds, such as Xxxxxx RetirementReady® Funds and Xxxxxx Money Market Liquidity Fund, to the extent necessary to avoid "double-counting" of such net assets) at the close of business on each business day during each month while the Management Contract is in effect.

  • Transferor Percentage means 100% minus (a) the Floating Allocation Percentage, when used at any time with respect to Finance Charge Receivables and Defaulted Receivables, or (b) the Principal Allocation Percentage, when used at any time with respect to Principal Receivables.

  • Pre-Incentive Fee Net Investment Income means interest income, dividend income and any other income (including any other fees, other than fees for providing managerial assistance, such as commitment, origination, structuring, diligence and consulting fees or other fees that the Corporation receives from portfolio companies) accrued during the calendar quarter, minus the Corporation’s operating expenses for the quarter (including the Base Management Fee, expenses reimbursed to the Adviser under this Agreement and any interest expense and dividends paid on any issued and outstanding preferred stock, but excluding the Incentive Fee). Pre-Incentive Fee Net Investment Income includes, in the case of investments with a deferred interest feature (such as original issue discount debt instruments with payment-in-kind interest and zero coupon securities), accrued income that the Corporation has not yet received in cash. Pre-Incentive Fee Net Investment Income does not include any realized capital gains, realized capital losses or unrealized capital appreciation or depreciation.

  • Obligor Percentage means, at any time of determination, for each Obligor, a fraction, expressed as a percentage, (a) the numerator of which is the aggregate Outstanding Balance of the Eligible Receivables of such Obligor less the amount (if any) then included in the calculation of the Excess Concentration with respect to such Obligor and (b) the denominator of which is the aggregate Outstanding Balance of all Eligible Receivables at such time.

  • Asset Percentage has the meaning specified in Section 2.05(b)(ii).

  • Acquired Entity or Business has the meaning specified in the definition of the term “Consolidated EBITDA.”

  • Average Invested Assets means, for a specified period, the average of the aggregate book value of the assets of the Company invested, directly or indirectly, in Properties, Loans and other Permitted Investments secured by real estate before reserves for depreciation or bad debts or other similar non-cash reserves, computed by taking the average of such values at the end of each month during such period.

  • Sold Entity or Business has the meaning specified in the definition of the term “Consolidated EBITDA.”

  • Retained Percentage means, with respect to any Excess Cash Flow Period, (a) 100% minus (b) the Applicable ECF Percentage with respect to such Excess Cash Flow Period.
