Relevant European Countries means Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.

  • Each Company will be responsible for identifying among its territories in Relevant European Countries those Countries and Channels to which this Undertaking will be applicable.

  • European Commission means the authority within the European Union that has the legal authority to grant Regulatory Approvals in the European Union based on input received from the EMA or other competent Regulatory Authorities.

  • European Monetary System means the European Monetary System established by the Resolution of December 5, 1978 of the Council of the European Communities.

  • European standard means a standard adopted by the European Committee for Standardisation, the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardisation or the European Telecommunications Standards Institute and made available for public use;

  • EU means the European Union.

  • European Union means the member nations of the European Union established by the Treaty of European Union, signed at Maastricht on February 2, 1992, which amended the Treaty of Rome establishing the European Community.

  • Convention country means any country or territory in which the Convention is in force;

  • Major Market Country means each of the United States, Japan, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom.

  • EU Member State means a member state of the EU;

  • Sanctions Authorities means the respective governmental institutions and agencies of any of the United States, the United Nations, the European Union, the United Kingdom, including without limitation, OFAC, the United States Department of State, and Her Majesty's Treasury;
