Relevant Index definition

Relevant Index means the index specified in the Contract Particulars;
Relevant Index means, if the Reference Equity specified on the face of this Note is a stock index or basket of stock indices, any stock index included in the calculation of the Settlement Value by the Calculation Agent in accordance with the Calculation Agency Agreement, including any successor or substitute index selected by the Calculation Agent in accordance with the Calculation Agency Agreement upon discontinuance of an index. The Relevant Indices will initially consist of those indices designated as the Reference Equity on the face of this Note.
Relevant Index means any stock index included in the Reference Equity.

Examples of Relevant Index in a sentence

  • The "Observation Price" of the Underlying shall correspond to the prices calculated and published for the Index on an ongoing basis by the Relevant Index Calculator on Trading Days (excluding prices calculated on the basis of the midday auction or of another intraday auction).

  • In the case of the DAX/X-DAX as the Underlying, Observation Hours shall be the hours during which the Relevant Index Calculator normally calculates and publishes prices for (i) the DAX® Performance Index (ISIN DE0008469008) or (ii) the X-DAX® (ISIN DE000A0C4CA0).

More Definitions of Relevant Index

Relevant Index means the index ascribed to each contribution in Schedule 2 and in all cases in the event of an index ceasing to exist an alternative index agreed between the relevant parties;
