Relevant Multiplier definition

Relevant Multiplier means a number (which may be one or more or less than one) calculated in the manner set out in the Appendix to this Condition;

Relevant Multiplier means for the purpose of section 2.3.3 (infrastructure charges) a number (which may be one or more or less than one) calculated in the manner set out in the appendix to condition C of our licence.

Relevant Multiplier means a number (which may be one or more or less than one) calculated in the manner set out in Part 8.

Examples of Relevant Multiplier in a sentence

• If, in any case to which a Relevant Multiplier applies, there is any dispute between the Appointee and the person on whom any Infrastructure Charge has been levied about the calculation of the Relevant Multiplier, or the number or type of fittings on which that calculation is based, it may be referred by either party for determination by the Water Services Regulation Authority.

• In the case of any premises with a sewerage only connection and no water fittings, the Relevant Multiplier will be one.

• Where a Periodic Review is to be carried out under paragraph 9 of Condition B, the Appointee may, by notice given to the Water Services Regulation Authority in relation to water or sewerage connections or both, refer to the Water Services Regulation Authority, for determination by it, the question whether any (and if so, what) change to the Standard Amount or the manner of calculation of any Relevant Multiplier should be made for the period or periods to which that review relates.

• This Condition shall be modified by the change (if any) to the Standard Amount or the manner of calculation of any Relevant Multiplier, necessary to give effect to any determination made by the Water Services Regulation Authority or theCompetition Commission [Competition and Markets Authority] under, or, as the case may be, following a reference under, this Condition.

More Definitions of Relevant Multiplier

Relevant Multiplier of a/b means a number (which may be one or more or less than one) calculated in a manner set out below. The use of the Relevant Multiplier acts as a financial incentive to developers to promote lower water usage household and non-household premises and support protection of the environment.
