Resident vendor definition

Resident vendor means a vendor who is considered to be a resident of this State if the vendor:

In the absence of convincing proof to the contrary, an individual other than a member of the armed forces of the United States, who is present in this state for more than one hundred eighty-three (183) days during the taxable year, is presumed to be a resident, but the absence of an individual from this state for more than one hundred eighty- three (183) days raises no presumption that the individual is not a resident. A resident who removes from the state during a taxable year is considered a resident until such resident has both established a definite domicile elsewhere and abandoned any domicile in this state;

  • Residential services means a complete range of residences

  • Minority Owned Business Enterprise or "MBE" means a firm awarded certification as a minority owned and controlled business in accordance with City Ordinances and Regulations as well as a firm awarded certification as a minority owned and controlled business by Cook County, Illinois. However, it does not mean a firm that has been found ineligible or which has been decertified by the City or Cook County.

  • Residential Units means individually or collectively (as the context requires), any or all residential apartment unit(s) in the Project.
