Resource Company definition

Resource Company means a corporation which represents to the Partnership that:
Resource Company means a company, limited partnership, or other issuer whose principal business is mining exploration, development, and/or production, oil and gas exploration, development, and/or production, certain renewable energy development and/or production, pulp or paper development, processing, and/or production, forestry development and/or production, or a related resource business, such as a pipeline or service company or utility.
Resource Company or "Resource Companies" has the meaning ascribed thereto in the Offering Memorandum; and

More Definitions of Resource Company

Resource Company means a company whose principal business is oil and natural gas exploration, development, and/or production, mining exploration, development and/or production, or certain energy production that may incur CRCE and that is a “principal-business corporation” as defined in subsection 66(15) of the Tax Act.
Resource Company means a taxable Canadian corporation, as defined in the Tax Act, that has a QET Property in Canada, the shares of which are listed for trading on a designated stock exchange, as defined in the Tax Act and which will enter into a QET Joint Venture Agreement with a QET Partnership.
Resource Company means a corporation which represents to the Partnership that it is a “principal-business corporation” as defined in Subsection 66(15) of the Tax Act that is engaged by itself or through its agents in the exploration for mineral resources in Canada, and intends to incur CEE on properties within Canada;
Resource Company means a corporation which represents to the Partnership that: (a) it is a “principal-business corporation” as defined in subsection 66(15) of the Tax Act, which includes corporations whose principal business is oil and gas exploration, development andƒor production, mining exploration, development, andƒor production and certain renewable energy projects that will give rise to incurring CRCE; and (b) it intends (either by itself or through a Related Corporation) to incur Eligible Expenditures in Canada;
Resource Company means a ‘gas project’ or a ‘licensee’ as defined in Section 3 of the Oil and Gas Act 1998 or a holder of a special mining lease or exploration licence issued under the provisions of the Mining Act 1992;
Resource Company means the concessionaire/licence holder to the resource extracted.
