Special Mining Lease definition

Special Mining Lease means a lease by that name created only pursuant to this Indenture and the ratifying Act and in the form or substantially in the form of the Second Schedule, and includes SML1, any Special Mining Lease granted under Clause 19(3), and any new mining lease granted pursuant either to any agreement entered into pursuant to Clause 30A or to Clause 30A(4), in each case, as varied, substituted or replaced from time to time;
Special Mining Lease means a special mining lease issued under Part IX of the Mines and Minerals Act [Chapter 21:05];
Special Mining Lease means a lease by that name created only pursuant to this Indenture and the ratifying Act and in the form or substantially in the form of the Second Schedule hereto and includes any new mining lease granted pursuant either to any agreement entered into pursuant to Clause 30A or to subclause 30A(4);

Examples of Special Mining Lease in a sentence

  • In January 2015, the Mineral Resources Department (“MRD”) of Fiji granted Special Mining Lease 62 (“SML 62”) on the Tuvatu project to the Company.

  • The Act converted the Special Mining Lease held by the Company to an Exploration Licence (EL1) for a period of two years from the date of the Transitional Act.

  • A memorandum of any such mortgages charges or other encumbrances shall thereupon by force of this Indenture and the ratifying Act be endorsed on the Special Exploration Licence or Special Mining Lease (as the case may be) in the order in which they appeared registered or recorded against an interest as aforesaid in any such surrendered tenement at the time of its surrender.

  • It is agreed by the parties that the area of the Municipality shall not include the lands the subject of SML1 and the State shall ensure that the lands the subject of SML1 or any other Special Mining Lease granted pursuant to this Indenture are not within the area of the Municipality or any other local authority.

  • A memorandum of all such mortgages, charges or other encumbrances shall, by force of this Indenture and the ratifying Act, be endorsed on the Special Mining Lease in the order in which they were registered or recorded against the Company's interest in the surrendered Eligible Exploration Licence.
