Responsible Practitioner means any practitioner who is actively involved in the care of a patient at any point during the patient’s treatment at the Hospital and who has the responsibilities outlined in these Medical Staff Rules and Regulations. Responsible Practitioner means any Practitioner, including a Consulting Physician, who is actively involved in the care of a patient at any point during the patient’s treatment at the Hospital and who has the responsibilities outlined in the Medical Staff Rules and Regulations. These responsibilities include the completion of medical record entries related to the specific care/services he or she provides.
Responsible Practitioner means any Practitioner, including an Attending Physician, a Consulting Practitioner, or an Operating Practitioner at a Participating UPMC Hospital who is actively involved in the care of a patient at any point during the patient’s treatment at the Hospital and who has the responsibilities outlined in these Medical Staff Rules and Regulations. These responsibilities include the completion of medical record entries related to the specific care/services the Practitioner provides.
