Retirement Notice definition

Retirement Notice means a written notice from the Grantee to the Committee of the Grantee’s intention to retire from full-time employment and to either permanently retire from the Company (or a Subsidiary or Affiliate of the Company) and the information technology industry or to change from full-time to part-time status with the Company (or a Subsidiary or Affiliate of the Company) without any other employment in the information technology industry.

Retirement Notice means a written notice from the Grantee to the Committee or the Committee Delegate of the Grantee’s intention to have a Separation from Service due to Retirement without any other employment that would be prohibited under Section 5 of this Agreement, which such notice is provided by the Grantee no less than thirty (30) days prior to the Grantee’s proposed date of Retirement.

Retirement Notice means a written notice provided by a Participant to the Company of the Participant’s Retirement at least six months (or one year in the case of a Band 0, Band 1 or Band 2 Employee) prior to the Participant’s Termination of Employment as a result of Retirement.

Examples of Retirement Notice in a sentence

• In the event that Executive’s employment is terminated by Executive’s retirement prior to the term of this Agreement, the Termination Date shall be the effective date of Executive’s retirement as set forth in the Retirement Notice.

• If the employee opts to take paid pre-retirement leave, the lump sum payment Retirement Notice Incentive will be reduced by an amount equivalent to the additional employer contributions to their pension plan and benefits package during the paid pre-retirement leave of absence.
