Risk of bias of included studies was independently evaluated (RW and TBG) using the Newcastle-Ottawa Scale (NOS) for assessing the quality of non-randomized studies (Wells et al., 2021) and the revised Cochrane risk-of-bias tool for randomized trials (RoB 2) (Higgins and Green, 2008; Sterne et al., 2019).
