Road Loads definition

Road Loads means the total force or power required to move the vehicle on a level and smooth surface at a specified speed and mass. Road loads take account of the frictional losses of the drivetrain. In this UN GTR, a reduction of the brake nominal inertia by a fixed percentage of 13 per cent is considered to account for road loads in full-friction braking emissions testing.
