Rooftop Solar PV definition

Rooftop Solar PV or “SOLAR PV” shall mean solar PV array/system installed on the flat /inclined roof of the building/elevated platform on metallic or concrete structure minimum 10 feet above ground level/Ground mounted system (in the places where sufficient shadow free rooftop area is not available.) In such instance up to 40% Solar PV array/system capacity can be accommodated on nearby unutilised land subject to the SECI’s approval.
Rooftop Solar PV means the Solar PV systems installed on the Flat / Sloped roof/ ground shall be covered under this scheme.
Rooftop Solar PV means solar PV array/system installed on the flat / inclined roof of the building / elevated platform on metallic or concrete structure minimum 10 feet above ground level / Ground mounted system (in the places where sufficient shadow free rooftop area is not available.

Rooftop Solar PV means The Solar PV systems installed on the Flat /Slanted roof shall be covered under this scheme. In addition, the systems installed on the elevated platform on metallic or concrete structure (above 10feet from ground in case sufficient shadow free rooftop is not available) shall also be considered under this scheme. In addition, 40% of the rooftop solar PV sanctioned Capacity for a site may also be installed on ground, in case sufficient shadow free rooftop is not available.
