Root CA definition

Root CA means an entity designated by WPC from time to time whose public key serves as the most trusted datum (i.e. the beginning of trust paths) to validate Manufacturer CA Certificates for a WPC public key infrastructure (PKI).
Root CA means the highest CA in the DOCSIS PKI and is the trust point for all certificates that are issued by the DOCSIS PKI.
Root CA means the CA that acts as the trust anchor at the top of a particular public key infrastructure (PKI) certification hierarchy.
