ROUTINE HEALTH CHECKUP definition

ROUTINE HEALTH CHECKUP. A medical examination taken at regular intervals to verify a normal state of health or discover a disease in its early stages. A checkup does not include any test or consultation to follow-up on a disease already diagnosed. SECOND SURGICAL OPINION: The medical opinion of a physician other than the current treating physician.
