Sanctioning Officer definition

Sanctioning Officer means an appropriately trained administrator who determines the appropriate sanction following a determination that this Policy has been violated. The Sanctioning Office will be impartial and free from demonstrated bias, including bias for or against complainants or respondents generally, and free from any actual conflict of interest, and will disclose any real or reasonably perceived conflicts of interest to the Title IX Coordinator as soon as such conflicts are discovered by the Sanctioning Officer to the Title IX Coordinator as soon as such conflicts are discovered by the sanctioning officer, and will have training in imposing sanctions under this Policy.
