School year definition

School year means the period beginning July 1 and ending June 30 next following.

School year means from July 1 until June 30 of the following year.

School year refers to the yearly period from July 1 to June 30.

Examples of School year in a sentence

Leave is generally deemed to be taken in the four-week period immediately following the final term week of the current School year.
A casual relieving Early Childhood Teacher may work the same hours as a full-time Early Childhood Teacher or part thereof for a specified period of time greater than four consecutive weeks in any one School year but no longer than a full school term or 10 consecutive term weeks, whichever is longer.
