All Northern Kentucky University First Year Students, unless an exemption applies, are required to live on-campus per the First-Year Residency requirement and secure a housing assignment upon admittance to Northern Kentucky University. Upper-class (non-first-time freshmen), students admitted to NKU Online (upper-class and FYS), and Graduate students are not required to live on-campus but may apply for Housing; however, space is not guaranteed.
