Each Scrutiny Panel shall appoint a Chair and Vice Chair from amongst its members.
There are none at this stage as the Scrutiny Panel is looking at how the Council could develop its policy in this area.
The Community Overview and Scrutiny Panel will be the Council’s Crime and Disorder Committee under the provisions of section 19 of the Police and Justice Act 2006 and shall be responsible for carrying out all the functions and have all the powers of a crime and disorder committee under the said Act and any related regulations or guidance.
