Senior Constable definition

Senior Constable means the Constable on shift who has worked for the longest period of time in the Department.
Senior Constable. (Level II) shall mean a Constable with eleven (11) or more years of service from a combination of continuous service as a Constable with the City and/or continuous eligible experience as outlined in 8.06 and who remains in the continuous employ of the City and is qualified for promotion in accordance with the provisions under Section 9, "Promotions" of this Agreement.

Examples of Senior Constable in a sentence

  • The participants shall receive 50% of the Service Leave, Special Pay Allowance, Sick Leave, Plainclothes Allowance, Senior Constable entitlement and Cleaning Vouchers that they would have received had they not participated in the job sharing project.

  • There shall be a Senior Constable classification that will be paid at 1.5% above the First Class Constable rate.

  • The members shall receive 50% of the Shift Differential, Service Pay and/or Senior Constable entitlement and Cleaning Vouchers that they would have received had they not participated in job sharing.

  • The participants shall receive of the Service Leave, Special Pay Allowance, Sick Leave, Plainclothes Allowance, Senior Constable entitlement and Cleaning Vouchers that they would have received had they not participated in the job sharing project.

  • Members holding the rank of Senior Constable shall be required to be a coach officer if requested and will receive Coach Officer Allowance.

  • All members of the Service, qualified as a Senior Constable, with twenty years of service shall receive seven and one-half percent (7.5%) above the 1st Class Constable rate of pay.

  • All members of the Service, qualified as a Senior Constable, with ten years of service shall receive four and one-half percent (4.5%) above the 1st Class Constable rate of pay.

  • Senior Constable" (Level I) shall mean a Constable with eight (8) or more years of service from a combination of continuous service as a Constable with the City and/or continuous eligible experience as outlined in 8.06 and who remains in the continuous employ of the City and is qualified for promotion in accordance with the provisions under Article 9 Promotions of this Agreement.

  • However, where such an officer becomes eligible for advancement to payoint 1.6 or progression to Senior Constable under these arrangements before becoming eligible for promotion to Senior Constable under those other provisions, such advancement and/or progression will proceed under these arrangements.

  • A member who is in a gazetted dog handler’s position and is required to care and maintain the dog/s during hours rostered off duty, shall be paid an allowance of 12% of the hourly rate of a Senior Constable on top salary increment (7 weeks leave).

Related to Senior Constable

  • Acquisition and Construction Fund means the fund so designated in, and created pursuant to, Section 502 hereof.

  • Commenced Construction means (a) all of the following site preparation work is completed: ingress and egress routes exist; the site on which the Project will be located is cleared and graded; there is power service to the site; footings are prepared; and foundations have been poured consistent with purchased equipment specifications and project design; or (b) the following financial commitments have been made: (i) (A) an engineering, procurement, and construction contract (“EPC”) has been executed by all parties and is effective; or (B) contracts (collectively, “EPC Equivalents”) for all of the following have been executed by all parties and is effective: (1) project engineering, (2) procurement of all major equipment, and (3) construction of the Project, and (ii) the cumulative payments made by the Developer under the EPC or EPC Equivalents to the counterparties to those respective agreements is equal to at least thirty (30) percent of the total costs of the EPC or EPC Equivalents.

  • Chief Constable means the chief constable of the Police Service of Scotland,

  • Existing construction means any structure for which the "start of construction" commenced before the effective date of the initial floodplain management code or ordinance adopted by the community as a basis for that community's participation in the NFIP.

  • Residential construction means construction on single-family or two-family dwellings occupied or used, or intended to be occupied or used, primarily for residential purposes, and includes real property pursuant to chapter 499B.
