Shanghai and/or Shenzhen Connect means Shanghai Connect and Shenzhen Connect.

  • GUOSEN SECURITIES (HK) in turn will be distributing Shanghai and/or Shenzhen Connect Securities and/or monies only to the extent recovered directly or indirectly from HKSCC.

  • Short selling may be suspended where the volume of short selling in respect of the relevant Shanghai and/or Shenzhen Connect Security exceeds the threshold(s) specified by the SEHK, and may be resumed if the SEHK so permits.

  • Board lot and odd lot orders are matched on the same platform on Shanghai and/or Shenzhen Connect and subject to the same share price.

  • The Client will be able only to sell, but not to buy, any Special Shanghai and/or Shenzhen Connect Securities.

  • Due to Pre-Trade Checking requirements, GUOSEN SECURITIES (HK) may process an instruction to sell Shanghai and/or Shenzhen Connect Securities that were bought on T day only on or after the applicable cut-off time (as notified to the Client by GUOSEN SECURITIES (HK) from time to time) on T+1 day subject to any Applicable Regulations.

  • If the Client is unfamiliar with the PRC market conduct requirements and restrictions, the Client should seek legal advice before engaging in trading through the Shanghai and/or Shenzhen Connect.

  • HKSCC will in turn distribute Shanghai and/or Shenzhen Connect Securities and/or monies recovered to clearing participants on a pro-rata basis as prescribed by the relevant Shanghai and/or Shenzhen Connect Authorities.

  • If the Client buys Shanghai and/or Shenzhen Connect Securities on T day, the Client may be able to sell the Shanghai and/or Shenzhen Connect Securities only on or after settlement has been completed (normally on T+1 day).

  • As discussed in earlier sections, auditability theory demands that the people performing contract management functions possess the correct experience and training.

Related to Shanghai and/or Shenzhen Connect

  • China means the People’s Republic of China, excluding, for purposes of this Agreement, Hong Kong, the Macau Special Administrative Region of the PRC and Taiwan.

  • Cross Connection means a jumper cable or similar connection provided pursuant to Collocation at the digital signal cross connect, Main Distribution Frame or other suitable frame or panel between (i) the Collocating Party’s equipment and (ii) the equipment or facilities of the housing party.

  • Broadband or “Broadband Service” means any service defined as Broadband, or having advanced telecommunications capability, in the most recent Federal Communications Commission inquiry pursuant to Section 706 of the Telecommunications Act of 1996 (P.L. 104-104).2

  • Telecommunications company means a person engaged in the furnishing of telecommunications service within this state.

  • Telecommunications is As Defined in the Act.

  • Networking means NSCC’s system that allows mutual funds and life insurance companies to exchange account level information electronically; and “Settling Bank” shall mean the entity appointed by the Trust or you, as applicable, to perform such settlement services on behalf of the Trust and you, as applicable, which entity agrees to abide by NSCC’s then current rules and procedures insofar as they relate to same day funds settlement. In all cases, processing and settlement of share transactions shall be done in a manner consistent with applicable law.

  • WFOE has the meaning set forth in the Preamble of this Agreement.

  • Digital Cross Connect System or "DCS" is a function which provides automated Cross Connection of Digital Signal Level 0 (DS0) or higher transmission bit rate digital channels within physical interface facilities. Types of DCS include but are not limited to DCS 1/0s, DCS 3/1s, and DCS 3/3s, where the nomenclature 1/0 denotes interfaces typically at the DS1 rate or greater with Cross Connection typically at the DS0 rate. This same nomenclature, at the appropriate rate substitution, extends to the other types of DCS specifically cited as 3/1 and 3/3. Types of DCS that cross connect Synchronous Transport Signal level 1 (STS-1 s) or other Synchronous Optical Network (SONET) signals (e.g., STS-3) are also DCS, although not denoted by this same type of nomenclature. DCS may provide the functionality of more than one of the aforementioned DCS types (e.g., DCS 3/3/1 which combines functionality of DCS 3/3 and DCS 3/1). For such DCS, the requirements will be, at least, the aggregation of requirements on the "component" DCS. In locations where automated Cross Connection capability does not exist, DCS will be defined as the combination of the functionality provided by a Digital Signal Cross Connect (DSX) or Light Guide Cross Connect (LGX) patch panels and D4 channel banks or other DS0 and above multiplexing equipment used to provide the function of a manual Cross Connection. Interconnection is between a DSX or LGX to a Switch, another Cross Connection, or other service platform device.

  • Mainland China means the People’s Republic of China (excluding Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan).

  • Networks the Local Area Network, network equipment, computer systems, and local cable infrastructure, at the Sites, to which the Service will be connected.

  • China Connect Service means the order-routing service through which Northbound orders placed by an Exchange Participant may be transmitted by an SEHK Subsidiary to the corresponding China Connect Market for the buying and selling of China Connect Securities and any related supporting services.

  • Wireless means a wireless handheld validation unit used with a supporting Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) as part of an approved gaming system. Amended 1/14/15

  • HKFE means the Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited;

  • Data Centre or "DC" means the primary centre where data, software, computer systems and associated components, such as telecommunication and storage systems, redundant or backup power supplies, redundant data communications, environment controls and security devices are housed and operated from;

  • DBS means the Disclosure and Barring Service;

  • Business Centre means each of the places so specified in the relevant Pricing Supplement.

  • Telecommunications System means a system for conveying visual images, sounds or other information by electronic means;

  • telecommunications network means transmission systems and, where applicable, switching or routing equipment and other resources, including network elements which are not active, which permit the transmission and reception of signals by wire, radio, optical, or other electromagnetic means;

  • Telecommunications Business means the business of (i) transmitting, or providing services relating to the transmission of, voice, video or data through owned or leased transmission facilities, (ii) creating, developing or marketing communications related network equipment, software and other devices for use in a Telecommunications Business or (iii) evaluating, participating or pursuing any other activity or opportunity that is primarily related to those identified in (i) or (ii) above; provided that the determination of what constitutes a Telecommunications Business shall be made in good faith by the Board of Directors of the Guarantor.

  • AT&T Inc. (AT&T) means the holding company which directly or indirectly owns the following ILECs: BellSouth Telecommunications, LLC d/b/a AT&T ALABAMA, AT&T FLORIDA, AT&T GEORGIA, AT&T KENTUCKY, AT&T LOUISIANA, AT&T MISSISSIPPI, AT&T NORTH CAROLINA, AT&T SOUTH CAROLINA and AT&T TENNESSEE; Illinois Bell Telephone Company d/b/a AT&T ILLINOIS; Indiana Bell Telephone Company Incorporated d/b/a AT&T INDIANA; Michigan Bell Telephone Company d/b/a AT&T MICHIGAN; Nevada Bell Telephone Company d/b/a AT&T NEVADA and AT&T Wholesale; The Ohio Bell Telephone Company d/b/a AT&T OHIO; Pacific Bell Telephone Company d/b/a AT&T CALIFORNIA; Southwestern Bell Telephone Company d/b/a AT&T ARKANSAS, AT&T KANSAS, AT&T MISSOURI, AT&T OKLAHOMA and/or AT&T TEXAS, and/or Wisconsin Bell, Inc. d/b/a AT&T WISCONSIN. As used in this Agreement, AT&T refers to the AT&T Inc. ILECs only.

  • BS means the “British Standard” as issued by the British Standards institution. “A.S.” means the American Standards as issued by the American Standard Institutions and “I.S.” means the “Indian Standards” as issued by the Indian Standards Institutions. Wherever the above-mentioned abbreviations are preferred to, in the specifications and / or work orders, they mean the addition with all amendments current at the date of issue of tender documents of work orders.

  • Motorway means a road specially designed and built for motor traffic, which does not serve properties bordering on it, and which:

  • Network Services means the equipment, software, and services necessary to transmit voice, data, or video.

  • Customer Care Centre means a department or a section or a facility established under sub-regulation (1) of regulation 25 by the distributor of television for addressing service requests, answering queries, recording of complaints, and redressal of grievances of consumers, by telephonic or electronic means or by any other means.

  • Integrated pest management means careful consideration of all available plant protection methods and subsequent integration of appropriate measures that discourage the development of populations of harmful organisms and keep the use of plant protection products and other forms of intervention to levels that are economically and ecologically justified and reduce or minimise risks to human health and the environment. ‘Integrated pest management’ emphasises the growth of a healthy crop with the least possible disruption to agro-ecosystems and encourages natural pest control mechanisms;

  • Telecommunications Assets means all assets, rights (contractual or ------------------------- otherwise) and properties, whether tangible or intangible, used or intended for use in connection with a Telecommunications Business.
