Shipyard status definition

Shipyard status means any period during which the Training Ship is proceeding to, is located at, or is returning from a shipyard or similar repair facility for the purpose of overhaul, repair or dry docking, and shall include a period of not less than ninety-six (96) hours prior to the Training Ship’s getting underway from the Academy pier in Buzzards Bay, and a period of not less than twenty-four (24) hours subsequent to its returning alongside the Academy pier in Buzzards Bay. The status of the Training Ship, including the date and time of the commencement and termination of any such status, shall be determined from time to time by the President of the Academy.

  • travel status with respect to an employee means absence of the employee from his/her headquarters or geographic location on Justice Institute of British Columbia business with the approval of the Employer, but travel status does not apply to employees temporarily assigned to a position outside of his/her headquarters or geographic location or to field status employees;

  • Inactive status means the status of a practitioner licensed or registered pursuant to Iowa Code chapter 153 who is not currently engaged in the practice of dentistry, dental hygiene, or dental assisting in the state of Iowa and who has paid the required renewal fee but who has not met the requirements for continuing education.

  • Train Mile means, in relation to a train, or a portion of a train, a mile travelled by that train, or that portion of a train, on the Network;

  • Locality in which the work is performed means the county in which the public work is done.

  • Tax-Free Status means the qualification of a Distribution or any other transaction contemplated by the IRS Ruling or any Tax Opinion as a transaction in which gain or loss is not recognized, in whole or in part, and no amount is included in income, including by reason of Distribution Taxes, for U.S. federal, state, and local income tax purposes (other than intercompany items, excess loss accounts or other items required to be taken into account pursuant to Treasury Regulations promulgated under Section 1502 of the Code).

  • Status means Level I Status, Level II Status, Level III Status, Level IV Status or Level V Status.

  • Continuous Service Status means the absence of any interruption or termination of service as an Employee or Consultant. Continuous Service Status as an Employee or Consultant shall not be considered interrupted in the case of: (i) sick leave; (ii) military leave; (iii) any other leave of absence approved by the Administrator, provided that such leave is for a period of not more than ninety (90) days, unless reemployment upon the expiration of such leave is guaranteed by contract or statute, or unless provided otherwise pursuant to Company policy adopted from time to time; or (iv) in the case of transfers between locations of the Company or between the Company, its Parents, Subsidiaries, Affiliates or their respective successors.   • Continuous Status as a Director means the absence of any interruption or termination of service as a Director.
