Short Bidder definition

Short Bidder means, in respect of an Auction of:
Short Bidder means, in respect of an Auction of an Auction Portfolio, a Non- Defaulting FXCCM that (a) is an Expected Auction Participant for such Auction Portfolio, and (b) submitted a bid, which is Accepted, but lower than the winning bid, in such Auction; and

  • Auction Losses will be attributed to an individual SwapClear Short Bidder pursuant to this sub-paragraph (ii) based upon the proportion that (a) the variance of the bid of such SwapClear Short Bidder from the winning bid (denominated in units of the relevant Auction Portfolio Currency) bears to (b) the sum of the variances of the bids of all SwapClear Short Bidders from the winning bid (denominated in units of the relevant Auction Portfolio Currency).

  • For the purposes of this sub- paragraph (ii) and sub-paragraph (ii) of Rule 2.5(f), the term " Short Bidder" means any FXCCM who is an Expected Auction Participant and who submitted an unsuccessful bid in the relevant Auction save for any FXCCM who submitted a higher bid in an Auction than the bid accepted by the Clearing House in accordance with Rule 2.3(d) (each such FXCCM, a "Higher Bidder" and each such bid, a "Higher Bid").

  • For the purposes of this sub- paragraph (ii) and sub-paragraph (ii) of Rule 2.5(f), the term "Short Bidder" means any FXCCM who is an Expected Auction Participant and who submitted an unsuccessful bid in the relevant Auction save for any FXCCM who submitted a higher bid in an Auction than the bid accepted by the Clearing House in accordance with Rule 2.3(d) (each such FXCCM, a "Higher Bidder" and each such bid, a "Higher Bid").

Related to Short Bidder

  • Qualified Bidder(s means a Bidder who fulfills the eligibility criteria listed out in the E-Auction Process Information Document.
