Single Room Occupancy Dwelling Unit definition

Single Room Occupancy Dwelling Unit means a portion of a building consisting of one or more rooms, including sleeping facilities, with a shared or private bath, shared cooking facilities, and shared living/activity area. This definition includes, but is not limited to "'assisted living facility."
Single Room Occupancy Dwelling Unit means a dwelling unit or guest room in an apartment building, hotel or other structure containing six or more guest rooms, and which may also contain dwelling units, in which 30% or more of the dwelling units or guest rooms do not contain private baths and toilet facilities within the dwelling unit or guest room.

  • Single Room Occupancy or “SRO” means housing consisting of single room dwelling units that is the primary residence of its occupant or occupants. An SRO does not include facilities for students.

  • apartment building means a residential use building, or the residential use portion of a mixed-use building, other than a townhouse or stacked townhouse containing four or more dwelling units each of which shall have access to above grade common halls, stairs, elevators, and yards;

  • Qualified building means a building built at least 30 years before the date of application, located within a designated downtown or, village center, or neighborhood development area, which, upon completion of the project supported by the tax credit, will be an income-producing building not used solely as a single-family residence. Churches and other buildings owned by religious organization may be qualified buildings, but in no event shall tax credits be used for religious worship.

  • Water Surface Elevation (WSE means the height, in relation to mean sea level, of floods of various magnitudes and frequencies in the floodplains of coastal or riverine areas.
